The girls were in charge today for the Chip Chuck competition at the Hospice. It was the first of this year's Open Gardens and it was a beautiful day for it too. With the sun shining all day we had lots of interest out on the front lawn of the Hospice, with many people also taking the opportunity to visit the resident donkeys too! We had lots of fun and there was lots of hot competition, with our very worthy winner Salome taking the £25 cash prize at the end of the day.
Young Will was our children's winner today and after lots of excitement and perseverance he eventually walked away with the huge Minion soft toy.
St Peter & St James are hosting many open gardens this year and in various locations; If you would like to go along and show your support at any of the Open Gardens you can find out more details on their website events page:
We will be attending the very special end of season family fun day at Beech Hurst Garden Party on August 29th. Please do join us there for the last Chip Chuck 3x5 competition of the year and one more chance to raise money for the Hospice.
